A 'CASTLE' TYPE STEEL TRAWLER WHICH IS STILL DECKED OVER IN MANY PLACES. A NUMBER OF DECAYING DEPTH CHARGES WERE SEEN ON THE STERN ALONG WITH A SMALL COMPASS, WHICH LOOKS LIKE THE HOUSING OF A CHRONOMETER. THE WHEELHOUSE HAS DECAYED BUT IS STILL EASY TO MAKE OUT. A LARGE WINCH IS STARTING TO DROP DOWN THROUGH THE FWD DECKING JUST AFT OF THE FO'C'S'LE, WHICH IS WELL COVERED WITH NETS. A LARGE GUN IS MOUNTED ON THE FO'C'SLE WHICH IS ALSO DRAPED IN HEAVY NET. A HUMAN LOWER JAW BONE WAS SEEN WITH TEETH STILL IN PLACE. THERE IS A REPORT OF PORTHOLES FOUND WITH 'TAP HANDLE' TYPE DOGS WHICH WERE MADE BY J ROBY, RAINHILL, NEAR LIVERPOOL. POSITIVE ID FROM THE BELL WHICH WAS RECOVERED BY FILEY DIVERS, BEARING THE NAME 'THOMAS CORNWALL'. (A C JACKSON & C A RACEY). NCA.
