Oorzaak: Built in 1907 by sir j laing & sons ltd, sunderland. owned at time of loss by the british & argentianian s nav co. four boilers, triple expansion engine of 470hp, single shaft. passage hull for london & buenos aires. in ballast. struck a mine laid by uc-1. attempt made to beach the vessel but a second exposion blew off the prop and rudder. tugs attempted to move the ship but a bulkhead collapsed and she sank.
